Secure Bolt Type Shackles for Repeated and Critical Lifting Applications

The Crosby G-2130 Bolt Type Anchor Shackle is designed for long-term or permanent rigging connections where resistance to accidental pin rotation is important. Its bolt, nut and cotter pin assembly provides a more secure connection than a traditional screw pin, making the G-2130 well suited for lifting systems exposed to vibration, repeated loading or extended service.

Each G-2130 shackle is forged, quenched and tempered with an alloy bolt and permanently marked with its Working Load Limit and Grade 6 designation. The galvanized finish helps resist corrosion, while Crosby’s distinctive Red Pin® provides an easily recognized mark of genuine Crosby quality.

Applications

The Crosby G-2130 is commonly used in overhead lifting, crane rigging, offshore handling, spreader beam assemblies and other applications where a shackle connection remains installed for an extended period. Its bolt, nut and cotter pin design is particularly useful where vibration or repeated movement could loosen a conventional screw pin connection.

6:1 design factor. Maximum proof load is two times the Working Load Limit. Shackles rated at 85 tons and above are individually proof tested with certification. The 120- and 150-ton sizes are furnished with eye bolts for handling. Working Load Limits may be reduced in side-loading applications.
