Slingmax® TPXCF Twin-Path® Extra Covermax® Roundslings are the gold standard in high-performance lifting. Built for maximum strength, safety, and efficiency, these slings are designed with two independent paths of K-Spec® core yarn—making them the strongest synthetic roundslings on the market. Offering a vertical working load limit range from 10,000 lb to 600,000 lb (with larger capacities available upon request), Twin-Path® slings are ideal for critical lifts across construction, energy, aerospace, and heavy industry.

Each sling features the Check-Fast® Inspection System with overload indicators, a red inner warning cover, and optional fiber optic internal inspection. The outer jacket is constructed with a 2-ply heavy-duty Covermax® bulked nylon—providing unmatched abrasion resistance. Despite their high capacity, Twin-Path® slings weigh only 10% of a comparable wire rope sling, reducing fatigue, setup time, and injury risk.

What Size Shackle or Connector Should I Use?

Slings used with fittings shall be compatible with the fittings used. The lifting capacity shall be rated at the lower of the sling or fitting. Fitting openings shall be of the proper shape and size to assure that the sling will seat properly. In other words, the diameters of most commercially available hardware are sufficient for use with a Twin-Path® sling of equal capacity. For many customers, this could mean upgrading to alloy shackles, or wide body shackles to achieve the Working Load Limit (WLL) required.
