The Crosby G-209 Screw Pin Anchor Shackle is a versatile Grade 6 shackle designed for lifting, rigging, towing and load securement applications. Its rounded anchor-style bow provides additional room for multi-leg slings and helps accommodate loads that may shift during handling, while the removable screw pin allows fast attachment and removal in applications where connections are changed frequently.

Each G-209 shackle is forged, quenched and tempered with an alloy pin, and permanently marked with its Working Load Limit and Grade 6 designation. The hot-dip galvanized finish provides added corrosion resistance, while smaller sizes through 3/8 inch are mechanically galvanized. Crosby’s distinctive Red Pin® provides an easily recognized mark of genuine Crosby quality.

Applications

Crosby G-209 screw pin anchor shackles are commonly used to connect wire rope, chain, synthetic slings and other rigging components in construction, manufacturing, marine, transportation and general material handling applications. The wide anchor-style bow makes the G-209 particularly useful for multi-leg sling connections, while the screw pin design is best suited for temporary or frequently inspected connections where the pin can be checked before each lift.
